Are these the three examples, Lighthouse? Again, if you have a question, look it up on C-SPAN. Your queries:
- if the drug wasn’t good he’d tell you

- What do you have to lose?

Ah, the old 'google it yourself' response.

I was asking you, as an avid supporter why you think Trump chooses the loose language he does, knowing it will encourage people to use a drug which is still experimental for the virus and has known side effects. Why he doesn't mention the risks, but says it can't hurt people, they have nothing to lose and if they had he would tell them. These comments are dangerous.

Personal reasons, political reasons? Or no reason.

Is Rose on a retainer from Cspan? A few cents oper mention? It's just another biased, rightwing 'news' source.

Fanaticism. Simples. All three of you :)

Rose - You are an intelligent woman. If Donald Duck instead of Donald Trump became a Republican president, you would defend every single squeak and squawk.

However, if an Hillary or an Obama saved the world, including your own children, you would criticise bitterly.

Bearing in mind it makes no difference to me who is elected in America. It may affect the world at large but only in very generic terms.

C-SPAN—“Your Unfiltered View of Government”—since 1979—that
records (and chronicles) events—word-for-word—is bias. :screwy:

Lighthouse was given access to President Trump’s actual words—which IF she had bothered to look—she would have found—were not careless.

And Anya is displeased I don’t want America to morph into a socialist third world globalists’ hellhole.

No surprise you have no real defence for the aggressive promotion of this experimental drug.

I wonder if Trump feels he has to justify his purchase of it from India by claiming to take it? If it's no help and harms some people he will look stupid. So, he spins how great and harmless it is, how wise try it.

A new study indicates it increases deaths!

You can beat a subject to death.

"Good results from hydroxychloroquine":
https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ALe ... ent=psy-ab

Every medicine has side effects.

The medical professionals I know are taking hydroxychloroquine.
Scientists said the results meant the drug should no longer be given to Covid-19 patients except in proper research settings.
Of course! Congratulations, you just found another worthless article.

Funny you should ask. :smiles:

Would I take hydroxychloroquine? As President Trump did, I'll ask doctors what they think. :smiles: (Remember, I can only get it with a physician's prescription and use it under the direction of a physician.)

Rose - That is not the point and you know it. What I asked was: If a Democratic politician did something incredibly good for your country, would you be able to admit it? Even to yourself?

I have American family and friends, many born and brought up there. They certainly seem able to criticise when something feels wrong to them. Or approve, it if feels right.

Of course I give people credit for good intentions and good results; but when it comes to President Trump the media manages to give him no credit at all—after they mangle any good news into something unrecognizable.

What was the 'good news' about him taking an experimental drug that has no proven benefits for Covid but does have known contraindications?

You mentioned 'good news', I merely asked what it was. I'm not watching a Fox show to attempt to work out what you said.

If you mean the drug MIGHT be found eventually to be a useful therapy for Covid, that's not good in the moment, just potential. And also potentially useless or harmful too.

You didn't watch any part of the video, so there's nothing to discuss.

Just explain what you meant by 'good news' - this is a discussion board, not simply a pointer to TV shows.

I started watching the video but the presenter's style was so annoying I gave up after five minutes. It did strike me that whatever the White House doctor says is a bit irrelevant if you remember that Trump wrote his own medical report when he first became president. What sort of doctor goes against generally accepted medical opinion? One who is paid to do what he is told, I suppose.

I gave up too - if Rose has a point to make let her make it and defend it, not simply direct people to Fox.

Rose, stop endlessly linking to other people's paid propaganda to make a point for you. What's YOUR point and why do YOU hold it.

Do you even know or is it not necessary any more when so many spinners feed you the message to obediently pass on. It's Orwellian. Don't be that cog in the wheel, we do still have freedoms to think for ourselves. For now.

YOU and I only know what we hear and read about hydroxychloroquine. You heard one side of the story, and I bothered to hear and read both sides./We both can research and ask opinions from medical experts.

Have you had a COVID-19 test? The President has one every day. Possibly exposed to COVID-19 more than 14 days ago, he feels (now that the longest incubation period is over) he no longer needs to take hydroxychloroquine to help him lessen severe illness from the virus.

As far as his health is concerned, king edward...Dr. Ronny Jackson examined the President in 2018.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronny_Jackson
…In 2006, while still in Iraq, Jackson was selected as a White House physician…

He has served as White House physician during the past three administrations and was the appointed physician for President Obama.[21] In January 2017, Jackson made headlines after treating a girl who was bitten by Sunny, one of the Obamas' dogs.[22][23]

President Trump retained Jackson as Physician to the President upon his inauguration in January 2017…[Dr. Jackson retired in 2019.]
Results from last year’s exam by Dr. Sean Conley, physician to the President:
