Ah, professional ranter Mel Phillips. Silly article with a false premise - no-one IS telling children that everyone is gender-fluid.

It's a question of making life easier for those who are. And some are. Why do you have a problem with this.

No problem.

The tiniest minority, who receive help, where needed.

Not running the WHOLE society for each tiniest minority.

It's still hundreds of thousands of people and they need a loo like anyone else. So make sure there are some available, it's not rocket science. Then people can choose the kind of loo they feel comfortable with. If space is limited just have one or two gender-neutral or make sure all shared loos are lockable cubicles. If there's only space for a single loo then by necessity it will be a shared-use cubicle. There, we've sorted it. Next!

A few hundred thousands, probably not even one single person, in every large district of every city and every town. Unlikely also to find - the only transgender - in most villages.

The hysteria is rapidly being reverted, in schools, colleges and public places.

Please have the last word.

What's wrong with having some gender neutral toilets and some of the traditional style. Then everyone's happy. Aren't they...? Choose the loo for you.

From what I see, gender neutral loos are separate cubicles with floor to ceiling walls, with no urinals. Possibly a shared sink area, or maybe just sinks inside each loo. It's not like everyone's widdling away in full view.

Exactly you don't have separate toilets at home do you?

So, you are going to change EVERY public toilet in this country. And every country.

Because ONE person, MAY use ONE toilet, ONCE a year?

There are hundreds of thousands of people.

But no-one is talking about changing EVERY public toilet are they? For one thing there isn't enough money. So stop exaggerating so much.

Different places will come up with their own solutions..both public and private sector. Maybe simply providing one gender-neutral loo. Maybe many. Instead of or as well as male/female ones as they think best suits the users.

Why make such a fuss, pretending it's something it's not.

Indeed. Why do you do it?
