I am finally sick and tired of Virgin Media. On 22 July I agreed a new twelve month contract with them. Today I received an e mail informing me of a £3.49 per month increase. After much discussion on the phone they have offered to waive it for 6 months. This is not acceptable. Anyone have any suggestions for an alternative supplier that I can talk to please?

I have always praised Plusnet, been with then years, they will always settle a problem, if there is one, in english, there 'any-time' calls suit me,
if you decide, mention my name, [widgetwilk] there referral system is good,

Thanks for that. This is the second recommendation for Plus net, one from another forum. I have asked them to put their offer in writing.

I phoned Virgin last evening and after much discussion they agreed to knock off the latest price increase for six months. I phoned again this morning to enquire how much my saving would be if I cancelled the TVs part of my package, and mentioned that I was waiting for a quote from Plus Net. After more discussion, they agreed to cancel my price increase altogether. I now pay £196 per annum line rental plus £30 per month for 100Mbps broadband, their TV package one down from the top one,all telephone calls 24/7 with caller I/d.
