'US"

Did anyone watch the series 'US".

If so, how do you think you would have reacted to the opening scene ?

Found this on Wikipedia, might have to see if it is still on iPlayer

Douglas Petersen is looking forward to a tour of Europe with his wife Connie and his son Albie. It's meant to be the trip of a lifetime and the last chance for some quality time together as a family. But in spite of Douglas's meticulous preparation and planning, things don't work out quite as planned.[7]

Sorry for neglecting my own thread.

I was thinking about what I wrote, and decided that it was veering towards trolling. Something I'm rather sensitive to these days.
I was going to pull the thread, but someone had already responded.

I'm not going to continue with it
But for anyone who is interested, 'US' is still available on BBC IPlayer. You may like to view the first five minutes and consider how you would react.

The wiki you refer to does leave out the most important point. That she has decided to leave him.

It all ends very oddly. You can (almost) anticipate it; if you have followed it through.

It seems to be unbearably 'civilised'. and they both carry on with their lives. Doesn't say what she does, she just drives off into the sunset.

But both appear to revert to form.
