Still can't get over the frosted tips of this beauty. Reminds me so much of my mother's favourite rose bush. It withered and died less than a month after we lost her.

It has always befuddled me how they bud as fiery orange then emerge in soft pink::

I hesitated posting this magnolia because of the wires behind.

This year the echinacea bloomed in about a dozen different colours. This crimson attracted the most pollinators.
