Does anyone have a view on GPS logging on photos? Do you or would you make use?

Ive not yet used it for Geotagging but will one day. :wink3:

Depends on what you feel free to share skeet. In the early days of GPS on smartphones me and friends had a APP so we could see just where each other was. Soon ditched it LOL!

Just over a year ago on another room on this forum a guy who recons he is all up to date with securely and backups posted an image of flowers in his garden, and only a few days on another thread said he would be away on vocation. I PM'd him with saying I've now see his house on Google Street View. TURN OFF YOUR PHONES GPS TAG, and delete that picture. He PM'd me back, saying he didn't know how :frantic:

Anyway skeet, did you take a rest at "The Glad Abbot"?

I don't want to frighten,or you to be disturbed skeet. I'm, or like to think I run a straight upper line. But I do put my mind into what a criminal would think and note, things like:- I have the address, know he's going away, at the very least there's a computer to lift, and so on. People can build up a profile.

Look after your self, best as you can.

First thing I do on my devices is switch off Location Services and I do not use GPS tagging on my camera bodies. Why advertise where you are and where you are not unnecessarily.
