Good set, I like number two but isn't it typical today that everyone seems to have a phone in their hand.

Good set there Pogue. Do you find that modern cameras with swivel screens are handy? You can be looking in the other direction as far as the subject's perception of you is concerned. I've got an assortment of Nikons but the one I use most is the Coolpix520.

Only one of my cameras has a swivel screen, which I never take out on the street. Both the Fujifilm cameras I use when out and about have fixed screens but even then I rarely use the screen at all, preferring to look through the viewfinder. I rather, if anyone spots me taking a candid of them to be honest about it. And only once have I ever been asked to delete a shot.

I have found the swivelscreen handy when you are in a crowd. You can hold it up at arms length above your head. If circumstances allow I prefer the viewfinder too.

Yup, that's the way I use the one on my Lumix FZ200 when I'm photographing a gig over the heads of the rest of the audience. For shooting on the street I think a simple tilt screen for getting low shots by looking down - something my Fujis lack.
