I was always getting e-mails to say there was a response from a topic I was involved in, but just recently I get nothing, not even a e-mail to say I have a PM, have looked and can't find anything to tick ;thinking:

It’s there. Board Preferences > Edit global settings

To clear cache and cookies when using Mozilla Firefox on Windows, follow the steps detailed below: Click on the menu button in the upper right corner. In the Privacy section , click on Clear your recent history. From the drop-down menu next to Time range to clear, select Everything, then click on Clear Now.

Try Options, and if it's not that try Help. I can't guide you any further cos it's different on my MacBook.

But this might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwvoZNWUo00

It's the other end of the icons in the top right hand corner, the one with three vertical lines and one diagonal....click that and you'll see history in the drop down menu, a little arrow is opposite history click on that and it gives you the option to clear history

In Firefox:

Click on 'Tools' (in Menu bar at top) (click the three vertical lines top right, then
Click Options> Privacy and Security then
Beside 'Cookies and site data', click on 'Clear Data'
Cookies are all gone.

While under the same heading, I suggest you change the settings of 'Accept cookies......etc.' thusly:
Beside 'Keep until'> change to 'Firefox is closed'.
Cookies will be divested each time you log out of Firefox or close the browser.

No pogue, but think I have solved it, it was a FF problem, kept having a yellow strip appear at top of page saying FF was stopping pop-us, just ignored it, but just now I thought I would take a closer look and I ticked the box which said allow FF pop-ups from IDF, and it showed I had a PM, so think it was FF,
