Funny, it also appeared on my local Facebook group page a few days ago, but the shop was Aldi Gillingham.

Re: A Shambles

So many 'armchair experts'. You don't live near London, I do. Those people going to work to pay your pension from their NI are putting their lives at risk. No word of compassion from you for them.

Re: A Shambles

They needed to wait another couple of weeks or until London's rate of infection was a lot lower or nil, as people there are sitting ducks for infection.

The people in the tubes and the buses must be scared stiff.

Re: A Shambles

Human 'common sense' as advocated by Boris Johnson, the PM who got coronavirus and almost died from it. What choice do these people have? Are they safe? Will they infect others? How long will it take? Does Boris Johnson have 'common sense'?

Oh for heavens sake, give it a REST.

Don't you have anywhere else to go? Nothing else to do with your life?

Re: VE Day celebrations today were great

I just hope you took your own glass, and hand sanitiser.

And I hope everyone at that lovely party did too. And that nobody there was incubating, or non-symptomatic, or had had any contact with anyone else who were.

I'm sure you'll be fine. The infection rate is going down now.

You have my sympathy, Stormy. You, of all people, need your feet to work! Hope it resolves quickly, but make sure you do what your doc advises. Have you thought of seeing an osteopath or chiropractor? I know some are still working.

Re: Welcome visitor

For months last year I watched the fox family who lived across the road in the old chalk quarry as they went about their lives, unaware of me sitting in my window seat. My old cat was approaching her life's end, and she would leave a lot of her food. Instead of throwing it away I would put it on the...

I withdraw it. But only because I made it up. I don't give a damn what Anya withdraws. I don't have a pet fox, nor ever have, she made that up. And I have friends. She also made that up. But I don't care whether she withdraws it or not. I will retaliate if people make up lies about me. And that is f...

Yes, etcetera, you should know. Talk about aardie missing the point. I chose that article specifically BECAUSE it is not againast foxes, yet still shows the dangers. There have been many independent reports of children being attacked, small dogs, cat, rabbits and other pets killed by foxes. Foxes d...

Have you actually READ that article, Anya? It's hilarious that you should be quoting from the Fox Project, an organisation that rescues foxes. The first sentence of the article says " In the UK, there is little or no danger of contracting disease from foxes. " Foxes are dogs, and susceptible to dog ...

Re: Welcome visitor

1f you had a garden where you spent a lot of time and money and it was regularly trashed by large animals, I think you might sing from a different hymn sheet. If deer were an occasional visitor, most would not object too much, despite any occasional damage but when it happens regularly, that's a ve...
