So it all hinges on how you interpret 'betray'. I am not sure a 15 year old girl is in possession of anything that might mean she is able to betray anything. Well she certainly displayed evidence she wasn't in possession of a brain! She's not a 'girl' now, she's a mother who's given birth to 3 offs...

It really is.

Yes, some people, feel they are living as the 'wrong' gender, but there's still only two.

And it's still wrong to be addressing a child's gender identity before the child has reached puberty.

"And put on trial" The UK still has treason laws, don't you? What we don't have, is 800 vacant prison places. They're overcrowded already. The penalty for treason was once the death penalty, maybe it could be reinstated. No, we quite rightly don't have the death penalty here. No need to s...

What concerns me Badger, is that children get taught full details about all this stuff while still in primary school - long before they reach puberty. Before they have any understanding of "gender" feelings at all. So how many of them decide a gender change is something they want , as oppo...

...how would you label the boxes on forms to take account of parents who are not the mother-father grouping? Regardless of how they "identify" in daily life, biologically they have to be one or the other. Two genders there are, and you need both to produce a baby. One mère, one père. That...

Should she come back? My immediate response was.. "No way - she's made her bed, now lie in it." However, if, as it seems, the law decrees she has to be allowed back into the UK, then she should go straight to prison. She has, after all, committed a crime, she joined a Proscribed Terrorist ...

Scampi - you last few posts certainly come under the definition of personal rudeness to another member. Please don't. It's not pleasant, and it's one of our very few rules on here.

I remember the 1962 winter too, it was the year I was working at the Vitamins Research Station over in Tadworth and I had to go there each day by train from Coulsdon. The snow was heaped up each side of the railway line for days. Lunch times we used to go into the fields behind the station and the s...

I like the Chase too. :whathesaid: Think you're on the right track Wigit, the Chasers have to appear formidable I think. Look at Anne Heggity - when she was a ..."victim" in the "I'm a Celebrity, get me out the Jungle" recently, we saw a totally different Anne compared with how s...

And of course, the oncoming car may still have contributed to the accident by speeding and not braking in time.

And Fall Back just fits with Spring Forward. So you know which way to alter your clocks.

White goods aren't hazardous waste though. We also have a scrap metal chap who drives around in a van every day looking for stuff, I was advised to put my old fridge out and within an hour, it had gone. It's valuable to them. Think about it - they wouldn't collect it otherwise, who'd collect someone...

It's true to say that TV certainly has changed! This was bought to my attention last week, while idly channel surfing, I found myself watching a "dating" programme on - I believe - one of the Channel 4 channels, which would have given my old school teacher "the vapours." It was c...
